Q: Hi Rory, I have a question. You know how some bodybuilders have legs so huge they can't put them together because of the development inbetween their legs? I heard that this is from working hamstrings. Is this true? In any case, I just want to know how to develop my legs so that I don't have that gap and there is muscle in-between. Thanks- DL
A: DL- that's a legitimate question. And you are right- that is the inner part of your hamstring muscle. Along with the sartorius muscle. To develop this particular area of the quadricep and hamstring and the adjoining muscle groups, do what is called Ballet Squats. Assuming you know how to do a basic squat, this version has toes rotated outward, heels approximately 18 inches apart (separation is based on good balance). This can also be done on a leg press. Thank you for an intelligent question!

Q: Rory, these great vintage photos you've been posting are not part of any of the compilations of photos of you usually found on the Internet. I'm curious as to why they've been withheld for so long.
A: The reason for this - they've been hidden away for a later date - which is TODAY. I've had these at home, and now I'm putting them on the internet. Hope you like them!

Q: Hi Rory,I am a female co-worker of Glen Banks and have a legit question. What type or arm exercises can I do to help build, and or strengthen my veins. I have weak veins but I need to donate blood in approximately one month. Please advise.
A: What you may think of as 'weak veins' because you can hardly see them, is because they are deeper-lying than when they are found in the upper sub-cutaneous layers. Or it may even be that you are anemic. The way to find out is to have a simple blood test taken. Check with your doctor.

A: To sum it up in one word: Contentment.
